André Nuesslein will defend his thesis entitled “A Fabry–Pérot Cavity for Rare-Earth-Ion-Doped Nanocrystals” in room A314 at 14:00 on the 16th of January 2019.
Throughout one semester he designed a set up that will eventually encapsulate an optical cavity. One of the cavity’s mirrors will be on a fiber tip and should be able to move in all three directions with respect to the second mirror onto which the crystals will be applied.
